Sun City West is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Maricopa County, Arizona, located about 2.5 miles west of the original Sun City. It sits in the northwest Valley area south of Loop 303 and north of Bell Road, and had a population of 25,806 at the 2020 census.

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West maintain seven golf courses, including four regulation-length and three executive-length (par 60) courses, along with a golf academy and indoor practice center. Four recreation centers—R.H. Johnson, Beardsley, Kuentz, and Palm Ridge—offer pools, fitness centers, tennis and pickleball courts, bocce ball, lawn bowling, walking tracks, libraries, and dog parks. The community also includes more than 90 chartered clubs and a performance theater.
